Tokyo, Sha'ban 16, 1436, Jun 3, 2015, SPA -- Visiting Philippine President Benigno Aquino stressed his country's relations with Japan Wednesday as key to defending regional maritime security, dpa reported. "The prosperity of maritime and coastal East and South-East Asia, which relies greatly on the free movement of goods and peoples, is at risk of being disrupted by attempts to redraw the geographic limits and entitlements outside those clearly bestowed by the law of nations," Aquino told the Japanese parliament. The Philippines and Japan are the "most vocal defenders" of regional stability, said Aquino, who arrived in Tokyo Tuesday for a four-day state visit. The president is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday. --SPA 13:39 LOCAL TIME 10:39 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
