WELLINGTON, New Zealand, Shawwal 11, 1436, July 27, 2015, SPA -- New Zealand police say they have found one body in a field of avalanche debris during their search for two missing Canadian hikers, according to AP. Police spokesman Nicholas Barkley said Monday that teams have removed the body but have yet to make a formal identification. He said police have been talking with the families of the two missing men, Louis-Vincent Lessard and Etienne Lemieux. Police say the Montreal students, both aged 23, were reported missing by their families July 25. According to police, the men traveled on July 7 to the South Island town of Te Anau intending to hike the Kepler Track, a route which typically takes three or four days. New Zealand officials caution hikers to take extra care on the track from May to October, due to wintery conditions. --SPA 03:50 LOCAL TIME 00:50 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
