Makkah, Dhu-AlQa'dah 28, 1436, September 12, 2015, SPA -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, made an inspection tour this evening of the Grand Mosque in Makkah after the fall of a crane on part of it, resulting in several deaths and injuries. Upon his arrival at site, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Interior Minister; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; and a number of senior officials. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques watched the site of the crash. In remarks on the occasion, the Monarch said "My visit today is to check what had happened and know how we can re-habilitate the site again. We will open investigation into the causes of the accident and then announce the results to the public." The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his condolence to the families of the martyrs, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy on them and wishing the injured quick recovery. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stressed that the Kingdom devotes all its efforts to serve the Two Holy Mosques and that its King is always honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques, as this is since the era of late founder King Abdulaziz until to today. Thankfully, Makkah and Madinah are important to us than anywhere in the world. Afterwards, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques paid a visit to AL-Noor Specialist Hospital in Makkah where he was reassured of the health of the injured from several nationalities, including Iranian, Turkish, Afghan, Egyptian and Pakistani.
