The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stressed in its statement that the continuation of these violations by the Iranian regime will undermine efforts to achieve peace in Yemen and the efforts of the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, Martin Griffiths. It reaffirmed that security and stability cannot be achieved in Yemen and the region as a whole unless the Iranian regime stops its expansionist practices and supplying Al-Houthi militia and other militias in the region with weapons, money, and logistical support.
