Riyadh, March 05, 2020, SPA -- The Swedish Ifta Council has affirmed that the decision taken by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to temporarily suspend Umrah and visiting visas as a precaution against the spread of the novel coronavirus, is in accordance with the Islamic Sharia, and it is a wise decision to place the interest of Umrah performers and visitors above considerations, and took into account the humanitarian situation.
