Riyadh, June 28, 2020, SPA -- Muslim Association of Malawi and Ahl Al-Hadeeth Central Association in Bangladesh have praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s decision to hold Hajj this year 2020 with a very limited number of various nationalities who already reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to Coronavirus pandemic. They affirmed that the decision is an evidence of the leadership’s awareness and concern for the safety of pilgrims, taking into account the necessity of holding the Hajj ritual. This came in statements received by Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh. The President of the Muslim Association of Malawi, Sheikh Idris Muhammad, announced his full support for this decision, saying, ‘’I announce our full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and this decision came at an appropriate time to ensure security and safety of people’’. He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia takes into account the interest of the Islamic nation and in Hajj millions of Muslims gather to perform it, which makes this decision among the most important decisions. For his part, the Secretary-General of Ahl Al-Hadeeth Central Association in Bangladesh, Sheikh Muhammad Shahidullah Khan Al-Madani, said in a statement that the Kingdom’s decision comes in the interest of humanity and the Islamic nation, confirming that this decision comes in accordance with Sharia.
