KSRelief Inaugurates Work of Immuno-Biolmedical Diagnosis Unit to Detect COVID-19 Cases in Hadramout, Yemen

Hadramout, May 9, 2020, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), in coordination with the World Health Organization, inaugurated today the work of the partial immuno-biomedical diagnostic unit (PCR) at the National Center for Central Public Health Laboratories in Seiyun City of Hadramout in Yemen, which will contribute to the rapid diagnosis of cases of the emerging coronavirus (COVID-19). Director of the National Center for Laboratories in Seiyun Dr. Nabil Ba'abbad explained that the work of the unit is divided into four main biological examination rooms fully equipped with a qualified laboratory staff to work on, adding that the presence of this unit will contribute to facilitating and quickly detecting those infected with the COVID-19.
