New York, Jan. 31, 2020, SPA -- Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Moallimi met with the Deputy Special Envoy of UN Secretary-General for Syria Khawla Matar. During the meeting, they reviewed the efforts being exerted by the United Nations for finding a way out of the current crisis in Syria and putting an end to the Syrian human suffering. Ambassador Moallimi appreciated the efforts of the United Nations, stressing the Kingdom's permanent support for the efforts of Special Envoy of UN Secretary-General for Syria aiming at reaching a political solution that ends the suffering of the Syrian people, and reaffirming Saudi Arabia's continuing solidarity with the Syrian people and its constant endeavor to help them overcome their difficulties.
