Saudi Arabia Wins Two-Year Presidency of Desert Locust Control Committee

Riyadh, Dec. 11, 2019, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was elected President of the Desert Locust Control Committee for the next two years, during elections at the opening ceremony of the 41st session of the 36-nation committee in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Locusts Control and Migratory Pests Center (LCMPC), an affiliate of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ran for the vacancy. In a statement, Eng.
