Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques receives Malaysian Prime Minister

Jeddah, Sha'ban 20, 1436, June 07, 2015, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Salam Palace here today the Prime Minister of Malaysia Mohamed Najib Abdul Razak. At the outset of the reception, the King welcomed the Malaysian Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay in the Kingdom; while the Malaysian Prime Minister expressed his pleasure to visit the Kingdom and meet the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, expressing his thanks for the warm welcome accorded to them. The Prime Minister of Malaysia condoled the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the death of Princess Jawaher bint Abdulaziz Al Saud; while the King thanked him for his noble feelings. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields, ways of enhancing them, and the latest developments at Islamic and international arenas. They also discussed the policy of racial discrimination and ethnic cleansing being practiced against Rohingya Muslims, and the need to address it in the framework of the resolutions of the Organization of Islamic Conference, the United Nations and the principles of universal human rights, and reviewed the Kingdom's outstanding efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to them. --More 16:16 LOCAL TIME 13:16 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
