Riyadh, Feb 21, 2020, SPA -- The General Directorate of Passports has announced the continuation of the suspension of travelling of citizens and expatriates to Iran, within the framework of the health procedures adopted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the novel coronavirus infection. Based on the requirements of maintaining public health, the entry of non-Saudi travelers who have previously been in Iran shall not be allowed but after the expiration of a period that exceeds the maximum limit of the incubation period of the virus (i.e. 14 days after their departure from Iran). The spokesman of the General Directorate of Passports stressed that the provisions of the travel documents system and its executive regulation shall be applied to all citizens who violate the travel ban to Iran and shall be subjected to quarantine for a period of (14) days, and if it is proven that this decision was violated by one of the expatriates, he shall not be allowed to return to the Kingdom.
