Saudi Press: Riyadh is Capital of Arab women for 2020

Riyadh, February 12, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Al-Yaum newspapers said that the Kingdom’s vision 2030 came to reinforce the positive role of women and give them a positive impetus to participate alongside their male brother in achieving the goals of the vision that made women a pillar of the process of building society. The papers said that the meeting of the thirty-ninth session of the Arab Women Committee, which was held yesterday in Riyadh, choose Saudi capital Riyadh as the capital of Arab women for the year 2020, which reflected the practice attention paid by the leadership in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to women. Al-Bilad newspaper said that the non-peaceful nuclear proliferation represents one of the most serious threats to world peace and human safety, especially from non-signatories to the international treaty.
