Riyadh, Sep. 29, 2019, SPA -- The Department of Passports announced today that it has started to receive, via the Kingdom's inlets, tourists who hold e-tourism visas launched by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage last Friday. In a statement issued today, the Passports Department announced that citizens of 49 states are allowed to obtain the e-tourism visas through the platform: (Visa.visitsaudi.com) or visiting the department's offices upon arrival in the Kingdom. The Passports Department pointed out that any tourist can obtain a visa through self-service devices, smartphones, or visa offices at the entry inlets, adding that the tourist is allowed to enter the Kingdom several times within a year since issuance of his/her visa on condition that the passport must be valid for a period not less than six months from the date of entry into the territory of the Kingdom. The tourist can stay in the Kingdom for a maximum 90 days during one year. The Passports Department disclosed that the main ports are King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, King Fahd Causeway, Al Bat-ha Land Port, and Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Al-Ula. --SPA 18:35 LOCAL TIME 15:35 GMT 0015 www.spa.gov.sa/w1181337
