New York, Sep. 25, 2019, SPA -- The Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) called on the international community to expedite efforts to provide the people of Jammu and Kashmir with urgent assistance to realize their legitimate rights, stressing that the achievement of a lasting and sustainable peace in South Asia remains requisite to the achievement of a just and final settlement of this conflict in accordance with the UN resolutions. OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir held a ministerial meeting here today on the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
