Geneva, Sep. 17, 2019, SPA -- The Yemeni Rasd (monitor) Coalition organized a seminar at the Geneva International Conference Center on the human rights situation in Yemen. Muthar Al-Baziji, the Executive Director of "Rasd", stated that since the Houthi militia coup on legitimacy in September 2014, the Houthi militias have committed numerous crimes and grave human rights violations amounting to war crimes such as indiscriminate shelling of densely populated residential areas. For his part, Bassem Al-Absi, member of the Yemeni Rasd Coalition, confirmed the Houthi militias' shelling of residential neighborhoods and densely populated areas with rockets and mortars such as markets, shops and children's playgrounds.
