Mina, August 10, 2019, SPA -- Center for International Communication of the Ministry of Media monitored on 7 and 8 August the wide coverage in the international media of the news of the arrival of more than 1.8 million pilgrims in the kingdom to perform the Hajj this year 1440 AH, noting that it has received wide coverage in the international media. The center reported that the news was published by a group of news agencies and the media most influential in the world public opinion in the United States, Britain, France and others. The positive tone prevailed the coverage with 100%, with 182 media articles in 7 languages from 157 media sources, reaching nearly 13 million followers in 32 countries. At the country level, the United States topped the list of the most news covering countries, followed by France, the United Kingdom, India and Pakistan respectively. The Daily Mail topped the list of news publishing media with 5 articles followed by Reuters with 4 and then Agence France-Presse and France 24 with three articles each. They were followed by Xinhua and US News with two articles each.
