Jeddah, June 24, 2019, SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, met here today with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. During the meeting, they reviewed historical relations between the two friendly countries and aspects of bilateral cooperation in various fields. They also discussed the developments in the region and affirmed the standing of the two countries in confronting the hostile Iranian activities and combating extremism and terrorism. Later, HRH Crown Prince gave a luncheon party in honor of visiting US Secretary of State and the accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense; Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America; Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Cabinet‘s Member; Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Cabinet‘s Member; and Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, Chief of General Intelligence.
