New York, April 03, 2019, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has affirmed its constant commitment to the protection of children, especially in times of war and armed conflict. Speaking at an event organized by the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, Deputy Permanent Representative of the Kingdom's Mission to the United Nations, Dr. Khalid Manzlawi, said that the Kingdom is working at the regional and international levels to protect children during armed conflicts, and actively participates in the International Alliance for the Reintegration of Child Combatants in the Community and is working to rehabilitate them through specialized centers, stressing that the Kingdom is committed to the humanitarian principles of protecting children during conflicts, and always working to provide the right environment for them.
