122 contestants to compete in King Salman Award for Holy Quran Memorization

Riyadh, February 10, 2019 -- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the General Secretariat of Local and International Holy Quran Competition, has approved 122 male and female contestants to compete in the Local Competition for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Award for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation for Boys and Girls in its 21st session to be held in Riyadh during the period from 11 -15 Jumada II, 1440 AH. The Secretary General of the Local and International Holy Quran Competition Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Fuhaid has pointed out that the contestants include 61 boys and 61 girls to compete in five branches of the Holy Quran memorization. -- SPA 12:07 LOCAL TIME 09:07 GMT 0002 www.spa.gov.sa/w834019
