London, January 17, 2019, SPA -- British Prime Minister Theresa May met opposition leaders, minus Labour party's Jeremy Corbyn, for discussions after she survived a no-confidence motion in arliament on Wednesday the day after her Brexit deal suffered a massive defeat in the same chamber. May met the Liberal Democrats, the Scottish National Party (SNP) and Wales's Plaid Cymru, but said she was "disappointed" that Corbyn chose not to take part in discussions. The prime minister said that her door remains open to Labour, calling on lawmakers to "put self interest aside" and "work constructively together" to find a way forward for Brexit. --SPA 03:41 LOCAL TIME 00:41 GMT 0034 www.spa.gov.sa/w821699
