Saudi Campaign Continues Providing Aid to Syrians

Amman, Jumada I 16, 1438, Feb 13, 2017, SPA -- Saudi National Campaign to support brothers in Syria has continued, through its office in Turkey, providing relief assistance to displaced Syrians from the city of Aleppo on the Syrian-Turkish border, specifically in Bab El-Salamah and Bab Al-Hawa camps. Director of the Campaign's office in Turkey Khalid Al-Salamah explained that this aid comes as part of the initiative, "For you, O Aleppo" targeting a number of camps. He reported that the aid varied to contain 4430 blankets, 5654 sweaters, 5654 Jackets and 1615 kids aprons, stressing that the distribution is going on according to plans prepared in advance to ensure distribution to the beneficiaries of displaced Syrians in an orderly and thorough coordination with Turkish government agencies. On his part, Director of the Campaign, Dr. Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Samhan said that relief aid being provided by the campaign for Syrians come to alleviate their sufferings, pointing out that the aid distributed inside the Syrian territories covers most of displaced Syrians in northern Syria in Aleppo area and Idlib with its countryside over this year's winter season. --SPA 12:10 LOCAL TIME 09:10 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w331136
