Cairo, Rabi'I 16, 1438, Dec 15, 2016, SPA -- Permanent Representatives to the Arab League called, during their emergency meeting here today, for the need to start a quick move by regional and international parties to stop hostilities, in Syria, speed delivery of humanitarian aid to the city of Aleppo and all besieged areas, describing the Syrian regime and its allies practices as war crimes, which should bring those responsible of committing, to international justice. The Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, who is also the Kingdom's Premanent Representative to the Arab League and the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps, in Egypt Ahmad Abdul-Aziz Kattan, reiterated consistent position of the Kingdom towards Syria's sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity and seek to reach a peaceful solution to the crisis in Syria, according to UN Security Council Resolution no. 2253. He held, in his speech during the meeting, the whole world responsible for what is happening, in Syria, in general and Aleppo, in particular, saying that the world must intervene immediately to stop this massacre rather than condemnation. He stressed that the Syrian revolution will continue as long as the butcher Bashar al-Assad's government does not committ to implementing UN Security Council Resolution no. 3354 and what was agreed upon in Geneva 1 and 2, stressing the continuation of the Saudi Arabian government full support for the Syrian people, in order to achieve their aspirations. -- SPA 21:55 LOCAL TIME 18:55 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w291676
