Addressing the King, the Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, Engineer Khalid Al-Faleh said, "It is my honor and pride to stand speaking before you, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Jubail Industrial City, while you continue the march of construction and development by launching a range of giant industrial and developmental projects, so you have from all the Kingdom's citizens their sincere thanks and great appreciation." He added "You, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, before more than 80 years, the march of economic development of our blessed country has started focusing on the oil sector, which has witnessed an amazing development which has been invested wisely to achieve a comprehensive national development, until the Kingdom has become, thanks to Allah Almighty, in the ranks of the top 20 economies worldwide, yet today our dear country under your wise leadership is anticipating tomorrow's promising features in the framework of the ambitious national vision 2030, which establishes a new era of growth and prosperity topped by human resources." Engineer Al-Faleh indicated that these industrial projects are the largest and most advanced of their kinds in the world due to their size, technical progress and their distinctive products, allowing unprecedented opportunities to strengthen and integrate our capabilities in the field of industry comprehensively, and within this consolidation and integration come the unique role of "Plus Chemo" project, which is a world-class complex for chemical and manufacturing industries and is expected to attract quality investments estimated at SR 20 billion and generate about 20,000 new jobs. Following that, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurated the projects of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu; Saudi Aramco; SABIC and the private sector which numbered 242 projects at a total cost of more than SR 216 billion.
