Madrid, Muharram 21, 1438, Oct 22, 2016, SPA -- Barcelona stumbled to the top of the Spanish Liga on Saturday with a late 3-2 win at spirited Valencia but may have lost captain Andres Iniesta to a knee injury. Lionel Messi opened the scoring and his second of the game with a penalty deep into injury time gave Barca victory after the hosts turned the match on its head at the start of the second half with goals from Munir and Rodrigo. Luis Suarez equalized for Barca then earned the match-winning spot-kick by being fouled by Aymen Abdennour. The win was overshadowed by midfielder Iniesta being carried off with what Barca described as a "lateral collateral ligament" injury in his right knee, with media reports suggesting he will be out for around three months. He is to undergo further tests on Sunday. In contrast, Barca now have 19 points from nine games, which is one more than Madrid neighbours Atletico and Real, who both have a game in hand. Atletico will visit fourth-placed Sevilla on Sunday then Real will host Athletic Bilbao. --SPA 02:31 LOCAL TIME 23:31 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
