Rome, Dhu-AlQa'dah 21, 1437, August 24, 2016, SPA -- Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi pledges assistance for the quake-hit region of central Italy, where at least 37 people have died, according to dpa. "We will leave nobody alone," Renzi says in a brief statement issued in Rome. The most important issue is to rescue further victims from the rubble, he adds, while thanking the people who helped with the rescue effort, even using their bare hands to dig for survivors at the start. Renzi plans to travel to the region in the afternoon. --SPA 16:01 LOCAL TIME 13:01 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
