Jeddah, Dhu-AlQa'dah 4, 1437, Aug 7, 2016, SPA -- Saudi Customs officers continue their successes in combating the smuggling of contraband, where Customs officers of Jeddah-based King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) have recently succeeded in foiling two attempts made by two women to smuggle 2165 G of cocaine into the country. The illicit items were found hidden inside the two smugglers' stomachs after swallowing capsules while coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via the airport. This was confirmed by the Director General of KAIA Customs Abdullah Al-Filaa, noting that customs officers have suspected a female passenger and was subjected to self-inspect and intestines examination device which confirmed the positive result with (89) capsules hidden in her stomach containing (1.27) kg of cocaine. He added that Customs officers have also foiled an attempt made by another female passenger to smuggle (1.138) kg of cocaine hidden inside her stomach.
