New York, Dhu-AlQa'dah 01, 1437, August 04, 2016, SPA -- US carmaker Ford has recalled approximately 830,000 vehicles in the US and Mexico due to a fastening defect with their doors, the company said Thursday, according to dpa. In certain situations there is a danger the doors could open while the car is driving, Ford said, and the door latches require replacement. The company knows of at least one accident and one injury resulting from the problem. Models affected include the Ford C-Max and Ford Escape from 2013-2015 as well as Ford Focus models from the years 2012-2015. The recall also includes 2015 Ford Mustangs, and the Lincoln MKC Sports Utility Vehicle and Ford Transit Connect Vans from years 2014-2016.
