Beijing, Safar 04, 1437, November 16, 2015, SPA -- The death toll from a landslide in eastern China's Zhejiang province rose to 25, with 12 still missing, state media reported Monday, according to dpa. Only one survivor has been rescued since the landslide hit the village of Lidong late Friday after two days of downpours, the Xinhua news agency reported. More than 2,300 rescuers and a team of specially trained dogs were continuing rescue operations in rainy conditions, Xinhua said. A massive lake of mud was hampering efforts, the report said, citing Mao Zirong, the deputy mayor of the nearby city of Lishui. The rain would continue during the week making rescue operations harder, meteorologists said. --SPA 13:18 LOCAL TIME 10:18 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
