Ramallah, Shawwal 16, 1436, Aug 1, 2015, SPA -- A Palestinian teenager who was shot and seriously injured by Israeli occupation forces during clashes on the West Bank has died, dpa quoted Palestinian medics as saying on Saturday. Layth Khalidi, 17, threw stones at Israeli soldiers manning a checkpoint near the city of Ramallah on Friday, during protests sparked by the death of a Palestinian infant in an arson attack carried out by Jewish extremists. Israeli soldiers also shot dead a 17-year-old Palestinian in the northern Gaza Strip after he approached the border fence between Israel and the Palestinian coastal enclave.
