Jeddah, Shawwal 15, 1436, Jul 31, 2015, SPA -- Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Ban Ki Moon condemned the horrendous crime by extremist settlers, attack and burning of a house at Doma village near Nablus, in the West Bank, leading to the burning to death of a Palestinian child, Ali Dawabsheh, and severe wounds to his family. In the daily press briefing, the Spokesman of the UN Chief Stephane Dujarric said on behalf of him, that the continuation of failure to, effectively, deter the running with crime without punishment against repeatedly committed crimes by the extremists, resulted in another heinous act, that ended the life of an innocent child, adding that the lack of a political process as well as Israeli illegal settlement building policy, in addition to sever and unnecessary practices of demolishing Palestinians' houses have led to violent extremism. UN Chief concluded by offering condolences to the family of the dead child and those who have been, severely, injured, in the intentional and deliberate arson. -- SPA 23:15 LOCAL TIME 20:15 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
