Kabul, Ramadan 26, 1436, Jul 13, 2015, SPA -- The death toll in a suicide car bombing near an Afghan military base rose on Monday to 33, excluding the bomber, with the latest insurgent attack following repeated government attempts for peace talks with the Taliban. Accprding to dpa, a bomber detonated an explosives-laden car at a military roadblock near Camp Chapman, formerly used by the CIA and currently used by foreign and Afghan troops, in the eastern province of Khost on Sunday. "Another 23 people were wounded in the incident," said Mobariz Zadran, the provincial governor's spokesman. "All the victims are civilians," he said, adding that the blast took place as they were about to break their Ramadan fast.
