Kabul, Ramadan 14, 1436, July 01, 2015, SPA -- At least 14 suspected rebels were killed when a US drone targeted an alleged hideout in eastern Afghanistan, police said Wednesday, according to dpa. "The incident occurred in Lal-Pur district of Nangarhar province on Tuesday evening," provincial police spokesman Hazrat Hossein Mashraqiwal said. He said more than a dozen people were wounded in the strike, and two rebel safe houses of the rebels were destroyed. Lal-Pur district bordering Pakistan has frequent rebel activity.
