New Delhi, Ramadan 2, 1436, Jun 19, 2015, SPA -- Heavy monsoon rains lashed India's financial capital Mumbai on Friday, disrupting road, rail and air traffic and leading to flooding in many areas, dpa reported. Two people died after being electrocuted, while several wall and house collapses were reported, municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta told reporters. The downpour, which began Thursday evening, has blocked traffic at more than 20 places across Mumbai leading to gridlocks lasting up to five hours, he said. Suburban trains, used by hundreds of thousands of people, were either cancelled or running late. Incoming flights were delayed on account of poor visibility and gusty winds. --SPA 17:09 LOCAL TIME 14:09 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
