Jeddah, 30 Shaaban 1436 H,June 17, 2015, SPA--239 male and female memorizers have participated in the Quranic competition held recently in the Republic of Chad, with cooperation between Teebah Institute for qualifying memorizers and the International Organization for the Holy Koran Memorization under the auspices of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. On the sidelines of this competition, a ceremony was held, during which the speakers commended the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the service of Islam and Muslims, praising the efforts of the International Organization for the Holy Quran Memorization in service of the holy Quran at the global level and in particular in Chad; and then awards and gifts were presented to the winners. --SPA 16:01 LOCAL TIME 13:01 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
