Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz also announced the creation of a fund for the restoration of historic mosques in the city of Jeddah. In addition, he stated that he will pay for the restoration of the mosque of Caliph Uthman bin Affan as a charity for his mother the late Princess Sultana Al-Sudairy. This came during his speech on Tuesday evening on the occasion of the opening of El-Shafei historic mosque in Historic Jeddah.
