Stockholm, Sha'ban 26, 1436, June 13, 2015, SPA -- Swedish authorities said Saturday four people were killed when a car exploded in the south-western city of Gothenburg, according to dpa. Three men died at the scene of the blast late Friday on the outskirts of the city, while the fourth victim, a schoolgirl, died later in hospital. Police said they were investigating whether the blast was due to an accident or deliberate, and whether rules regulating explosives or flammable goods had been breached. The identities of the victims have not been released. Tabloid GT, however, reported that one of the men was linked to a criminal gang in the city, that has seen a series of gang-related violent incidents over the control of drugs and other illicit goods. In March, two people were shot dead at a restaurant in the Biskopsgarden neighbourhood. Three men are in custody on suspicion of involvement in it. --SPA 15:10 LOCAL TIME 12:10 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
