Washington, Sha'ban 11, 1436, May 29, 2015, SPA -- The United States has removed Cuba from its list of state sponsors of terrorism after 33 years, the State Department said Friday. US President Barack Obama had announced last month his intention to remove the island from the list as part of US and Cuban efforts to restore diplomatic relations between the countries after decades.
