Abuja, Rajab 27, 1436, May 16, 2015, SPA -- At least six people were killed when a child suicide bomber set off an explosion in a north-eastern Nigerian town, police said Saturday. The girl, who is believed to have been between 10 and 13 years old, detonated explosives strapped to her body on Saturday morning at the busy Bayan Tasha market in Damaturu, in Yobe State, police and witnesses told dpa. Resident Lawan Biu, who witnessed the incident, said security officers at the market's car park entrance let the girl pass unchecked.
