KUALA LUMPUR, Rajab 05, 1436, April 24, 2015, SPA -- Malaysia's foreign minister says Southeast Asian leaders will seek next week to speed up plans for a binding code of conduct with China that would govern behavior in the disputed South China Sea, AP reported. Foreign Minister Anifah Aman said a massive outflow of Muslim Rohingya refugees from Myanmar to neighboring countries also will be discussed at a two-day summit of the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations which starts Monday. Anifah said Friday that the leaders are expected to raise concerns about recent land reclamation in the sea being conducted by China. He said the grouping will not set a deadline for reaching a code of conduct with China but hopes that Beijing will respond positively to its plea to speed up efforts. --SPA 15:12 LOCAL TIME 12:12 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
