Islamabad, Jumada II 1436 25, April 14, 2015, SPA -- Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Shiekh, said that his visit to Pakistan aimed to communicate with officials of Pakistani Ministry of Religious Affairs as well as the country's scholars. He added that what is happening in Yemen should be cleared to Pakistani media and scholars. In a press conference he held at the Saudi House in Islamabad last night, he said the Houthi militias, a small religious group in a village of northern Yemen, have received large quantities of arms and money from Iran to allow them spread among the Yemeni people. At one point, they seized the power, abrogated the constitution, nullified the parliament and threw the government by force, he said. Sheikh Saleh added that this coalition is an Arab, Islamic and international gathering and at the same time it refuses violation of Yemen's sovereignty because such a thing contradicts Islam teachings and principles. He reminded that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is in no need to the wealth of other countries, as it is the home of the two holy mosques. It receives support of the entire world in its drive to restore legitimacy to its southern neighbor at an invitation of legitimate president Abdrabbo Mansour Hadi, he concluded. --SPA 20:47 LOCAL TIME 17:47 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
