Jeddah, Jumada II 7, 1436, Mar 27, 2015, SPA -- President of The Sudan Omar Al-Bashir expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and all Saudi officials for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to him during his recently-concluded official visit to the Kingdom. In a departure statement in Jeddah today, Al-Bashir said the King's decision was a correct one taken in due time to launch the "determianiton storm" operation aiming at preserving Yemen's security and stability and contributing to securing the region, particularly the security of the two holy mosques. He affirmed that his country considers the security of the two holy mosques a red line rather than any security, even the national security. He expressed hope of the success of the operation to lay the foundation for uniting the Arab ranks towards solving their thorny issues. Al-Bashir said "we have been very worried about the developments in Yemen with which we are tied with strong and deep-rooted bonds as any threat emerging in Yemen is a threat to the security of the region, particularly the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia". --SPA 21:29 LOCAL TIME 18:29 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
