Sydney, Jumada I 15, 1436, Mar 6, 2015, SPA -- Police in Sydney on Friday said a wall and scaffolding collapse at a building earmarked for partial demolition had not resulted in any casualties as originally feared, Australian media reported. According to dpa, fire crews used thermal-imaging equipment to comb the rubble after a passerby said they believed someone was trapped at the site in Bexley North in the south of the city, Seven News reported. "It's extremely lucky given the time of day," police Superintendent Dave Donohue told the broadcaster. Two workers escaped injury because they were sitting in a car opposite the building. --SPA 14:54 LOCAL TIME 11:54 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
