Beijing, Dhu-AlQa'dah 16, 1435, September 11, 2014, SPA -- The Association of Space Explorers has awarded Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, the Prize of Space Explorers and Medal of the Association in recognition of his efforts exerted in the field of space and service of the Association's objectives. This came during the 27th Conference of the Association, which opened in the Chinese capital of Beijing yesterday. The Prince is the first one of astronauts to receive this medal outside Members of the United States of America and Russia, and the Prince is a founding member of the Association of Space Explorers established in 1985AD with a membership of more than 350 astronauts from 35 countries.
