Colombo, Dhu Al-Qa'dah 12, 1435, Sep 7, 2014, SPA -- Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe arrived in Sri Lanka on Sunday on a brief but significant visit aimed at boosting economic and security ties in the south Asian region, dpa cited officials as saying. Abe, whose visit marks the first time a Japanese premier has been to Sri Lanka in 24 years, arrived in Colombo on Sunday and is set to leave early Monday morning.
