The Saudi embassy in Ankara announced on Monday that it has not received any notices that Saudis were present in areas in Türkiye’s south struck by a devastating earthquake in the early hours of the morning. In a tweet, the embassy said it was following up with Turkish officials to ensure that no Saudi were present in the devastated regions. It called on Saudis, who are present there, to exercise caution and communicate with the embassy on the dedicated hotline.
