Jeddah, Sep. 19, 2019, SPA -- Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk, Sudan's newly-appointed Prime Minister, was quoted as vowing to establish cooperative relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields. In an exclusive interview with Al-Bilad newspaper published here today, Hamdouk lauded the recent reforms being implemented by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. He lauded the decades-long support and relief rendered by the Kingdom for the people of Sudan during different political rules of the Arab, Islamic, African country. He said his government gears forward to see new era of cooperation and investment to achieve the mutual interests of the two countries, promising to pay an official visit to the Kingdom as soon as possible. He called for mutual support for joint peaceful initiatives to achieve peace and security in the region, especially the Red Sea region.
