Ban on use of liquefied gas for cooking in holy sites

Riyadh, July 14, 2019 -- Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, has directed to take measures to ban the use of liquefied gas for cooking in all holy sites during the Hajj season of this year 1440, and to apply legal procedures and penalties against anyone who proves to violate the decision and enter or use Liquefied gas in any holy site. The Director General of Civil Defense, Lieutenant General Suleiman Al-Omro said that the prevention of the use of liquefied natural gas in the holy sites comes within the framework of the keenness of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the safety of pilgrims to perform their rituals in security and tranquility.
