Riyadh, 20 June 2019 SPA -- Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Salim Al-Mutani, received here today the Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to the Kingdom Peter Nicholas. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Mutani briefed the Ambassador on the mechanism of the Council's work and its legislative, supervisory, and parliamentary roles, parliamentary friendship committees and mutual visits with all parliaments of the world to enhance bilateral relations between the Kingdom and these countries. For his part, the Ambassador expressed his condemnation of the terrorist attack on Abha International Airport that resulted in injuries among innocent civilians, stressing that the actions of the Houthi terrorist militia targeting populated areas are unacceptable.
