Tanzanian Prime Minister Lauds the Kingdom's Efforts in Serving the Holy Quran

Dar es Salaam, Ramadan 16, 1438, Jun 11, 2017, SPA – Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's great efforts in serving the Holy Quran and supporting the Quran's competitions in the world. This came in his speech during the 18th Africa Holy Quran Memorization Competition at the sports stadium in Dar es Salaam with presence of more than 65,000 persons amid a great attention of Tanzanian President John Magufuli. "The attendance of a high-level delegation of the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance and Saudi ambassador to Tanzania Mohammed bin Mansour Al-Malek reflects the Kingdom's keenness of serving the Holy Quran," the Tanzanian Prime Minister said. For his part, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Zaid, representative of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, delivered speech in which he conveyed greetings of the Kingdom's government and people to the Tanzanian government and people, announcing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, will sponsor this competition and honor the winners starting from this year. --SPA 19:35 LOCAL TIME 16:35 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w425749
