Aden, 22 Muharram,1438 AH, 23 October,2016 , SPA -- The United Nations Envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Al-Cheikh Ahmed, called on the parties of the conflict in Yemen to agree to extend the humanitarian truce which ended last midnight for 72 additional hours, subject to renewal. Ould Al-Cheikh confirmed in a press release that during the period of the ceasefire which came into force at dawn last Thursday, many of the affected neighborhoods have been provided with humanitarian aid The UN envoy reminds all parties of terms and conditions of the cessation of hostilities, which include a complete and comprehensive cessation of all military operations, expecting the two parties' commitment towards final stopping of violence, stressing the importance of a fully cease-fire in case they agree on the extension of the truce. -- SPA 13:01 LOCAL TIME 10:01 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
